Clay Aiken is a father
People who knows me long enough would have known that I am a big fan of Clay Aiken.

But, not huge enough to realise that my beloved crooner is now a proud father of a baby boy named Parker Foster Aiken who is weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces and was 19 inches long, borned at 8:08 a.m. Friday ( coincide with the opening day of the 29th Olympic Games in Beijing, China ).

The excited father wrote in his website, "No hyphens. One first name. One middle name. One last name."

The mother of the child's mother, 50-year-old Jaymes Foster ( sister of record mogul David Foster ) is Aiken's friend and record producer whom he met while performing on "American Idol."

Both mother and son are doing well.
