Forgotten

Tam and I we had a lunch appointment with a colleague yesterday. And guess what happened? We practically forgot about it until we walked to the opposite side of the office area only to realized that we left behind something big!

There I was, searching in the brain of mine for Mr Hair-Raising’s number, only to find myself had actually forgotten his direct line. We would have called him on his mobile if we have his number. But, we don’t!!!

Only after a couple of tries did I managed to talk to him. Thank God he was not mad or something. He still managed to crack some jokes about it saying how forgetful we were.

He eventually managed to join us for lunch and we had a good chat about some pathetic jokes and the world outside our office.

We headed to Pearl Point shortly after finishing our lunch for Popular’s bookstore; where Tam’s there to collect her pre-order of Michael Wong’s latest CD.

It was raining heavily when we’re about to leave Pearl Point. We had no choice but to stay put till the rain stop. The thing was it didn’t and we called back to the office to report to our supervisor’s.

We decided to have our very own tea break at Subway. But, that didn’t happened because we had an angel intended to save us from the rain.

I was about to have my vanilla muffin when Tam returning James’s call. That was when James said he was around the block and asked us if we wanted a lift in such heavy rain.

Mr Hair-Raising was about to make his dive into his platter when I told him that we got an angel saving us from the heavy rain. He requested for a takeaway instead.

When we got out from the hotel lobby, there was James in his Waja. Thank god. We’re saved…by an angel…
